I’ve done the April A-Z challenge on both my personal and professional blogs in the past. This year I am choosing to do it on my professional site, DB McNicol, as well as this one. So, for this site’s theme, I am choosing My Life in Black & White where I will share a B&W photo for each of the letters, A to Z. I hope you will join in the fun and follow my posts in both spots!
Thank you for visiting my site and a double thank you for honoring my copyright.

Black and white photos are magical, that’s a great topic for the A to Z!
Thanks – I hope I do them justice.
Cool idea! Color photography is great for some things, but there really is something special about black and white.
This will all be photos converted from color to B&W, but I still like the way they look. I’m a huge Ansel Adams fan and know how the contrasts can impact.
Love seeing daily images (wordless Wednesday has always been one of my favorites and I should probably add it back to my blog).
I used to do a lot of flash fiction but had to back off in order to write more books. LOL! I also did a bit in the past of sharing photos I’ve taken over the last twenty years but paused about 18 months ago so thought this would be fun.
I used to share photos for author use years ago as well as write weekly flash fiction (500-1000 words) based on images my blog readers would submit. I am hoping that following all of you through the A-Z challenge increases my motivation again
Yes! Hope you find your mojo again.
Wow! Super amazing that you will be doing this for TWO blogs 🙂 I can’t wait to see your posts
Thy are both easy ones, already prescheduled. I’m really looking forward to seeing veryone else’s posts.
I really enjoy images. Can’t wait to see your shares
Thanks, I hope you enjoy the ones I picked to post.
Nice! I am looking forward to seeing what you post all month.

It’s going to be a fun month – just need to stay focused on my current novel that is overdue.
I love this idea. I’m really excited about all the fun blogs and different ideas. I’ll definitely return to see your photos
Thanks, it’s going to be a fun month!
I looked at both your blogs and both themes interested me. I don’t do B&W photography, which is strange because I enjoy it so much when I see the work of others. I look forward to this, and thank you for visiting my blog. Alana ramblinwitham
I don’t photograph in B&W but picked these as ones that would look good that way. Keeping my fingers crossed they come across. Welcome!
Hi Donna,
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I take lots of photos and upload to Flickr where I have over 5000 images saved – most in colour but a few family history scans that are black and white.
I will be keen to see your different images.
Thanks so much for dropping by. I wish I had B&W photos that I took during my childhood, but they are long gone. The photos in the challenge were all taken in color and I have changed them to B&W, hoping it enhances them and not detract from them.
I upload mine to SmugMug, I’ve had an account there for over twenty years. Small annual fee, but I know how to navigate the site so I just stick with it.
Black and White photos are so evocative. I am going to check out your series. Looking forward to this.
Thank you, Meena.
