Freeday Friday – a photo with explanation and information.

This was taken as I rode from Jamestown, North Dakota to Fargo, North Dakota late in the afternoon. The storm got really bad and I had to take cover under an overpass along with several cars. I used the rear view mirror on my Harley to get this shot.

By the time I got to the hotel, I was drenched. There were dozens of people taking cover there as the severe weather moved through the area. The front desk clerk was so nice, offered me a couple of warm towels to dry off, and put me in a room across from the laundry so I could dry my clothes. My riding gear was completely drenched through!

    1. I did a lot of mirror shots while touring the country on my motorcycle back in 2005.
