Thank you, another lucky one. The next was next to the house in a clematis that was way too big.

The clematis got pulled out, we were worried about it getting under our siding, so no more here either.
What a fabulous photo! I/m sure it took a lot of worms to fill that hungry little nestling.
He was the last one to leave, there were three others.

If the nest is on the ground, aren’t you worried about other animals getting to the chicks?
Not on the ground. We had a climbing clematis bush there and the nest was up in it next to the house.
