A scene like this that would normally be shot in color is interesting in B&W. It made me pay attention to various details I may have missed in color, like the shadows. Alana ramblinwitham
As with all my photos, this was originally taken in color and filtered to B&W. I really had fun finding photos that translated well.
Great choice for your X topic – and this photo is wonderful. Theres something oddly mysterious about Arizona cacti – I always imagine groups of beings conspiring in hushed tones, with barbs ready to discourage eavesdropping.
I love the southwest. Hubby and I always said if we won the lottery, we’d have a cabin in Montana and a hacienda in Arizona.
